Everywhere we turn, there are
new fad diets, pills that promise to burn off pounds of
fat while we sleep, and new exercise machines being
introduced that assure us that we will lose weight and
keep it off. Sadly, most of the people who try each of
these things fail to lose weight as promised. Today, there
